The venue was a little more run down this year. Taps not working, some toilet and shower doors did not lock, the grass was very long causing more dew. The activities were very late to start on our first day and no real activity for the group in the afternoon / evening.
The team building was fun, but this caused lots of waiting around as the year group were altogether and could have been in smaller groups to engage them more. (September 2023 - Secondary School)
I have done many residential trips but this is by far the best I have ever done. We felt so welcome and the location and venue are brilliant for a bespoke experience that the Whitwell team provide. I can think of nothing I would change and ourselves and our children loved it. I would highly recommend. (July 2023 - Primary School)

Another fantastic visit to a wonderful facility. Staff are helpful and friendly, the site is perfect for school groups with areas to socalise and brilliant showers. Thank you for another amazing DofE Weekend. (March 2022 - Secondary School)
