Manor Adventure Shropshire

Outdoor pursuits courses for schools and families

Description

Since 1992, Manor Adventure has been offering residential outdoor pursuits courses for school children during term time and low cost, action packed family activity holidays and activity breaks during the summer school holidays, in the UK and France.

Culmington Manor
Located in 100 acres of beautiful South Shropshire countryside, close to the Welsh border and just a few miles from the delightful town of Ludlow. The excellent facilities include a high ropes course, an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor rifle range and an artificial caving system.

Abernant Lake Hotel
Located in the Victorian Spa town of Llanwrtyd Wells, our second UK centre, the Abernant Lake Hotel boasts magnificent views of the mountainous Mid Wales countryside. And it the perfect setting for a Manor Adventure activity break!

Lockerbie Manor
The latest UK addition to our family of activity centres. Building on the success of our UK and French centres, we are now offering Scottish activity holidays in the tranquil woodlands of southern Scotland.

Le Château du Broutel
Situated in the charming town of Rue, less than one hour from Calais, our 18th century Château is perfectly located for school trips and family holidays. Beautiful parkland is the ideal setting for the obstacle course, abseiling and archery. And a large private lake for water based activities like canoeing, kayaking and raft building.

Le Château de Warsy
The newest addition to the Manor Adventure Group is Le Château de Warsy, an 18th century château in the heart of Picardy. We have four different courses to choose from: French Adventure, French Experience, French Language, and Guided WWI Battlefield Tours.

A superb venue for children of all ages. (January 2018 - Primary School)

The activities provided are excellent and the instructors were of a high calibre. However, we were disappointed with the management of meal times - there were far too many schools trying to eat in one short period of time. The kitchen staff were unable to manage this in terms of quality/quantity of food. Our children felt very rushed eating. When questioned about the quality of food, a member of kitchen staff implied we were fussy because the area we came from. (December 2017 - Primary School)
