Description
A former Local Authority Outdoor Education Training Centre, the Leicester Outdoor Pursuit Centre, or LOPC became an independent charity in June 1997.
Since then it has flourished, providing adventurous activities designed to stimulate, educate and motivate young people and others at affordable prices, in a safe and challenging environment.
Situated on the edge of the River Soar, the centre provides a wide range of paddle-sport activities, suitable for all abilities and those with disabilities. The High Ropes course has some 12 different challenging activities and there are a wide range of other land based activities, including Archery, Rifle-shooting and bush-craft.
All this from a compact 15 acres will mean your students get the maximum amount of time on activities without travelling time between them.

The instructors were great and spent time reassuring and talking through the activities will the children. All of the children were able to participate fully and appropriate measures were put into place to support those that needed it.
The day was well planned and timings ensured that children had adequate time on each activity. Staff and children thoroughly enjoyed the day.
