Brancaster Activity Centre

Sole-occupancy Activity Centre on the Beautiful North Norfolk Coast

Description

Delve into the mud of the saltmarsh to see the wierd and wonderful creatures which live there; paddle your own kayak up our tidal creeks and get close to the mysterious reedbeds; run free on our expanse of sandy beach; learn to find your way in orienteering; explore the harbour in our stable sailing boat with your friends - what will your favourite life-long memory be?

We know how children benefit both immediately and long-term from the experience of an educational residential stay and where better to do this than in the wonderful surroundings of the North Norfolk Coast with it's variety of habitats, fun and adventure led by our full-time qualifed staff.

As a LOTC venue we pride ourselves on tailoring your activity choices to your learning outcomes - be these academic, social, or specific non-academic aims such as a Year 6 reward. Visiting School children will also gain our National Trust Young Ranger Award as part of their stay.

We will be very pleased to welcome you for a pre-visit or telephone one of our friendly staff for an informal chat. We look forward to hearing from you.

Although the weather was awful, we managed to do all the activities and everyone enjoyed themselves. (June 2019 - Primary - Post No: 13687 )

Great trip - all worked well. (June 2019 - Primary - Post No: 13049 )

The venue is in a perfect location for the activities. The instructors and staff there are knowledgeable and worked with the children well. The food was excellent and their waste system really made the children think. Rooms are on the smaller side, however not an issue. All rooms have at least a toilet and most have a shower ensuite too. Fantastic residential trip for the children. The staff were brilliant and made everyone feel very welcome. Great venue with great facilities. Thank you. (March 2019 - Primary - Post No: 10360 )

Fabulous venue for a number of different purposes (November 2018 - Primary - Post No: 7483 )
