The trip was brilliant. Canterbury cathedral staff from the moment I enquired to leaving the venue were brilliant and helpful. I send the national curriculum learning intentions and they catered the whole day around this. (February 2024 - Primary School)

I would definitely run this visit again: giving our students the opportunity to handle medieval manuscripts and to see where three key events from the course took place was amazing. There are also aspects of the visit that we can incorporate into our schemes. What the Cathedral staff did really well was show how the stories of Becket and Langton were meshed - this is something that can form the basis of an A level lesson. There were also details about pilgrimage and the ‘transportation’ of Becket that we can use at KS3. I think it was one of the best days out I have done in 26 years. (December 2023 - Secondary School)
