(October 2023 - Primary School)

The children had a wonderful day exploring the castle. The British Heritage leaders were full of information and the children were fully engaged with the talk, especially all the hands on experiences. (July 2018 - Primary School)

Very helpful and friendly English Heritage Staff. The venue is free to schools. there was plenty to do to keep the children busy - small museum, castle ruins, the little church and school room with boxes of dressing up clothes, clipboards, large tarpaulin for outdoor activities and boxes of 'artefacts' and little white gloves to hold them with. (May 2018 - Primary School)

(March 2018 - Primary School)
