Very open space outside the hall but well led sessions which engaged the children. (July 2019 - Primary School)
A wonderful day out for adults and children alike. The grounds are superbly maintained and there is so much to see and talk about inside the Hall I wouldn't know where to begin. And all FREE! (July 2019 - Primary School)
very well organised sessions. The children loved them. (June 2019 - Primary School)
Guide was excellent; saw parts closed to public. Children enjoyed the caves too. (May 2019 - Primary School)
Cautious about wildlife - a deer came very close to the group of children whilst eating lunch. Animal approached from absolutely no where. (April 2019 - Primary School)

Both session were well organised, facilities were brilliant with space for lunch, plenty of toilets and classroom space for half of the day. The mini-beast hunt was active, exciting and beneficial for children in the classes in identifying and categorising different insects. The other session on natural plants was good but a little too hard for the children in year one. (October 2018 - Primary School)
The children really enjoyed the workshop and seeing the various stuffed animals. They enjoyed discussing the habitats of the various animals and comparing them through sketching. (July 2018 - Primary School)
Mary Anning fossil session was excellent. Children loved the session and the leader of the session was very knowledgeable and engaged the children well - age 6 (June 2018 - Primary School)
