Too busy during the Summer term. Overwhelming for younger children and couldn't access many activities. A lot of things in run down condition. May be worth booking a workshop, although this could make it expensive. (January 2024 - Primary School)

Lots of fantastic hands on activities for children to explore independently and with adults. Theres a water area so beware the children can get damp. Beautiful outside playground for physical and exploritory learning. (July 2023 - Primary School)
All children had a wonderful time den building and exploring the outdoor area. It was a large open space which allowed us to keep an eye on all children easily when they were collecting materials.
They enjoyed the indoor science exhibitions. Only having one entry and exit point allowed staff to stand at these points and give children freedom to explore. We were the only class booked for this day so it was not busy. (May 2023 - Primary School)

Interactive activities which could be accessed by all age groups. Reception took part in an additional workshop which was a great challenge for them.
Feedback from the children was extremely positive. (January 2022 - Primary School)

The actual experiences for the children were great. This is a fantastic venue for the children. It would be great on wet days if a longer lunch could be given (1/2 hour just not long enough) and if one set of toilets could be for schools only and not the general public. (October 2019 - Primary School)

The Look Out Discovery Centre was excellent and offered a very safe and secure environment for the children to explore whilst adults could support the level of engagement. (June 2019 - Primary School)

The Look Out Discovery Centre were brilliant with the children and it was a great trip for the children to attend. (April 2019 - Primary School)
An amazing hands on experience for Year 2 children. The children enhanced their prior learning, developed their team building skills and thoroughly enjoyed a classroom experience rescuing a turtle trapped in a net! (April 2019 - Primary School)
Great for mountain biking centre. Parking difficult in a minibus (February 2019 - Secondary School)

Really well organised. We were met upon arrival. Indoors available if wet weather at lunch time. Indoor investigation exhibits all hands on and plenty to do. Workshop was well run, interactive and the children were engaged. The outside minibeast hunt was well organised. Informative and built upon children's existing knowledge. It is a great centre for 7 to 8 year olds as it is self contained and then can explore exhibits (December 2017 - Primary School)
