Blackburn Rovers Community Trust

Learning is not a spectator sport

Description

Blackburn Rovers Community Trust is fully committed to offering all members of the local and wider community access to the highest quality programmes of grass roots football, education projects, inclusion initiatives and awareness campaigns to encourage off-field participation, success and enjoyment.

The Trust prides itself in being at the heart of the local community, providing engaging activities that meet the needs of the local population, using the environment and medium of football as a route to other knowledge, skills and understanding; delivered by a team of highly qualified, experienced teachers and assistants.

Blackburn Rovers Education Centre is housed in dedicated accommodation in the Darwen End Stand of Ewood Park, the home of Blackburn Rovers Football Club. The Education Centre welcomes thousands of children and young people each year from across the north-west of England, to participate in a range of curriculum focused activities – using the power of football and the learning environment of a football stadium to enthuse, motivate and inspire learners.
