Open 24/7 other than a small shut down over Christmas
Please visit our web site for our latest price list. https://www.bibbysfarm.org.uk/booking/price-list/
Bibbys Farm is a 40 acre camp site next to the Rivington Moors and is owned and operated by the Bolton Scout Trust.
We are only open to youth groups and schools and do not take bookings from the general public. Hence, all adults staying on-site and all our staff and volunteers have enhanced DBS checks.
We have multiple camping pitches ranging from small ones to suit up to a dozen campers and several larger fields catering for over 200 each. Some are supported by parachute shelters to provide a dry area in case of poor weather.
We also have 3 residential buildings ranging from Forest Lodge, our log cabin which sleeps 6 people up to Hulton Lodge that can accommodate up to 52. We have 76 beds in total across our 3 buildings.
We also offer activities for visitors and can help schools put a package together to suit their needs and budget. We build each package depending upon what you want and can afford rather than only offering a one-size-fits-all solution. You can work out your own package and costs from our price list or you can give us a list of your wishes and we'll do it for you.
For D-of-E expeditions, we are perfectly situated on the edge of the Rivington Moors making expeditions easy to manage.

Chorley town centre which has a railway station and bus station is around 3 miles away and can be walked or a short taxi/Uber journey away
Not directly but we can put you in touch with a number of local suppliers who can provide anything from packed meals, buffets and full hot meals served on-site
Yes, all the main supermarkets have delivered here before. Please let us know if you are expecting a delivery so we can direct them to the right place when they arrive
No we don't. The reason being that none of our activities fall within the scope of AALA (AALS).
AALA covers climbing on real crags whereas our climbing is all on man-made structures, moving water or large water bodies whereas our lake is small and not tidal.
We would not be eligible for an AALS license even if we wanted one.
Our cover is for £25 Million and can be supplied on request
