Field Studies Council - London

We are Field Studies Council, an environmental charity and leaders in outdoor education. We want to inspire your pupils with innovative teaching, and explore diverse learning environments together, to encourage them to care for our natural world.

Each year over 3,000 school groups, from key stage 1 to university level, visit our centres for geography or science (biology) fieldwork, cross-curricular environmental activity courses, plus outdoor adventure.

Field Studies Council London offers a range of courses across the Capital City, using inspiring and exciting natural and built sites across London.

Through working at a wide range of sites, we offer courses that suit your needs. All our teaching sites are fully accessible and are located near tube or train stations.

We work in partnership with The Royal Parks to deliver education in:

Bushy Park
Greenwich Park
The Regent’s Park
Beckenham Place Park
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Greenwich Park Learning Centre has a sustainable outdoor classroom and accessible facilities including toilets. The space enjoys an outdoor shelter, natural play facilities, nature trails, dipping pond and extensive wildlife meadow.

Beckenham Place Park courses run from the Homestead Education Centre, with two classrooms is in the 18th Century stable block and has easy access to sites across the Park.

Our urban teaching sites include: Stratford, Docklands, Kings Cross, Brick Lane and South Bank.
