We had a really great week. It was a shame we were in the older accommodation with no staff area as this made managing medication (including a type 1 diabetic) much more difficult. It had to be administered in a staff bedroom which is not ideal. (May 2023 - Primary School)
Fantastic activities for aiding team work, independence and confidence. Safety is high priority to all the staff and they are very friendly and supportive to all children. (May 2023 - Primary School)

Superb. Excellent facilities and staff are well trained and educatied (February 2022 - Secondary School)
The staff were really great with the children. The accommodation was clean and well maintained and the activities were well pitched. The food was good and well organised. Their approach to covid measure was sensible and well organised. (December 2021 - Primary School)
Some issues regarding the office management and organisation. Also issues with lackluster instructors and an issue regarding an orienteering session ending before the children had all returned. (November 2021 - Primary School)
We didn't think it was very safe that they were completing the orienteering activity across the car park. (November 2021 - Primary School)
(November 2021 - Primary School)
The staff on the whole were skilled and knowledgeable, they were supportive to all the children's needs. The activities were well equipped and organized. I had some concerns with the facilities e.g. non-flushing toilets and leaky sinks. Any concerns were dealt with quickly, it was a shame that staff and pupils were aware that it was the last week of the season as PGL staff were discussing this. It was also very evident in some PGL staffs motivation levels. If we could afford it, we wouldn't go the last week of the season. (November 2021 - Primary School)

The children found PGL a fantastic experience. All staff members of PGL were supportive and engaging. (October 2021 - Primary School)
Staff were brilliant, everything was extremely well organised and the site was well maintained and offered a brilliant range of activities. Students loved it! Salt levels in the food could do with being reduced- especially the soups, but the pupils liked the food! (October 2021 - Secondary School)
The PGL staff were excellent, as were the facilities and activities. Our children had a wonderful time and their confidence, I'm sure, all increased after the challenge of the activities. (October 2021 - Primary School)

PGL is a fantatsic provider for residentials. However we did find that due to the covid restrictions in place they could not cope with the capacity of groups on site. (July 2021 - Primary School)

The children and staff enjoyed their time at PGL Osmington Bay. The activities were well suited to the group of children that we took and the staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The skills of teamwork and problem solving which I had named as a priority were the focus of the activites and the children showed more resilience by the end of the week. (November 2019 - Primary School)
(November 2019 - Primary School)
Well run, safety conscious and equipment is well maintained. (October 2019 - Primary School)

Attentive to the needs of our school.
Happy to accommodate changes to timetable.
PGL leaders and instructors on the whole were very good - related well to the children, held their attention and gained their trust very quickly.
Booking and organisation of the trip was simple and any questions were quickly answered.

The centre expanded last year and there are still some issues related to that. For example: Meal times were too short and both adults and children felt rushed and some of the staff, being new, were not so skilled in dealing with a large group such as ours. (June 2018 - Primary School)
feedback given to PGL about meeting point 2 being crowded and skill level of groupie. (June 2018 - Primary School)

Excellent organisation, extremely rigorous safety protocols in place and food and accommodation more than adequate for the needs of the pupils. For pupils with health conditions that require keeping extra dry and warm the new accommodation block would be more appropriate. (May 2018 - Primary School)
