Diverse were fantastic throughout the planning of this complex trip abroad to Madrid with lots of moving parts. Lucy, who helped me throughout the process, was attentive to our needs and was in constant communication with me about the itinerary and updates. The trip ran incredibly smoothly, everything was booked perfectly and all staff on the trip commented on how well organised everything was. As a result of this staff were able to relax on the trip as they knew the itinerary was taken care of. The airport process was equally as smooth, all boarding passes were correct (I had actually misspelt a name which Lucy picked up one, thanks Lucy!!). I am looking forward to running the same trip again in two years and I wouldn't change a thing.

All venues on the trip were great, except that the Henry Moore Institute Archives were closed on the Sunday we were there, the Leeds Art Gallery had staff shortage and closed the Upper Galleries (the main bit) on the day that we were there, and the Bus company - our driver - was trying not to nod off at the wheel on the way from London to Haworth. Which GT called in and we had a different driver for our return journey.
The accommodation was interesting and comfortable, we had the run of the place, it is currently up for sale.
The art clay/mud/tile workshop at the Ceramics Biennale at Stoke on Trent was particulary well enjoyed as well as the guided tour of the installations - as was the workshop at YSP with an artist.

Very good customer service and the pack they send out to you for the trip is excellent with everything down to travel plans on the bus and tram set out for you. Highly recommend!

Diverse were amazing, contact was made when the visit to the baseball game was cancelled due to the bad weather - unfortunately we couldn't rearrange this.

Our educational visit to Barcelona was excellent. Natalie from Diverse Travel created a fantastic itinerary for our children, with excursions to Segradad Familia, Nova Icaria Beach, a tapas tour, a tapas cookery class, a flamenco class and dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. It was truly exceptional. The excursions enjoyed by our children were Nova Icaria beach [they could have stayed all day], the tapas tour and the Cookiteca Spanish cookery class.
Accommodation at the BCN Sports Hostel was clean and facilities were good, - all rooms had en-suite facilities - although the evenings could be quite noisy.
We would strongly recommend that Diverse Travel do not use Transbuca transfers in the future as they were consistently unreliable and late.

The organisation provided was fantastic. Everything was thoroughly covered by them at it was very easy to find our way using the maps provided by Diverse. When we had an issue regarding towels at the hostel, Diverse were very quick to solve the problem and have offered to refund money lost due to fees incurred. Although most of the maps were very good a couple of landmarks were not quite were they were indicated on the maps. However, this was not a serious problems as the landmarks were near enough that we could locate them pretty quickly. All in all it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Diverse School Travel.

We were unhappy with the large error made in the preparation of this trip (the fact that they did not check that the UN was open before booking dates with us) but after this was rectified they have been most helpful. The itinerary was jam packed and interesting but did not take into account location of venues and could be better organised to allow us to do activities that are within the same area in one day to reduce travel time.
Provider Response: Great school to work with, and the trip was a success. Just one small correction, the UN made a change to its scheduled opening dates after we'd booked - it wasn't an error we made. We liaised with the school immediately and all was sorted, largely due to the teachers being very flexible and working hard to ensure the UN visit could go ahead!
